Mounted this over my table saw in my shop. Plugged it into the garage opener outlet. Took all of 7 minutes to install, screwed in an eyebolt to the ceiling joist used a short piece of decorative chain and a carabiner. Exceeds expectations slightly less bright than the sun. The dimmer on the remote lets you dial it back. My dim garage now feels like a surgery. Perfect application. On high it does get warm but it hangs in the middle of my shop with plenty of airflow. Glad I didn't buy the silly fan shaped LED light. Where has this light been my whole life.

Update 10/25 - it turns out there are some angles where the remote doesn't work very well. I'm not sure where the sensor is mounted but certain spots in the garage. Even if I'm pointing the remote right at it, it doesn't work. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying.-------------So let's talk about this shop light. It came packaged really well, not in Styrofoam but actual closed cell foam. It comes with a remote and a working dimmer that doesn't need any extra attachments. Some other shop lights claim to have dimming ability but you have to buy an extra dimmer component to make it work.The entire thing looks really well made and sturdy. The cast aluminum was smooth and finished well, leaving a smooth finish. Sometimes cast aluminum can be a bit rough, not in this case.The hanging hook they give you is beefy and the retaining screw is a nice touch. They provide an additional hanging wire, which I assume is some kind of safety mechanism, but if something happens that shakes this loose from your ceiling you're going to have other things to worry about.The light itself is very bright and does cast a pretty wide cone of light. When it's really cold outside it does take about 60-90 seconds to come to full brightness but that's pretty normal for LED lights and it's still plenty bright when it first comes on. One thing I do appreciate about this light is that when it gets power, it turns on regardless of whether it was on or off when it lost power. A lot of these lights with remotes require the remote to turn it back on if it was off which is annoying. Much better to assume you want it on when it gets power, that way you can wire it to a switch and it just works even if you've lost the remote.The dimming range is pretty wide, which I appreciate. You can go from blinding bright to a brightness that you can easily look right at.The included remote works well but be aware it doesn't come with batteries. You'll need two AAA. The other weird thing about it is the way the light colors are labeled. It can do a range of colors from 3000K - 5000K but the buttons on the remote are labeled "ww" - 3000K, "pw" - 4000K and "cw" - 5000K. Mostly you're likely to just leave the color alone forever but if you did need to change it, those labels aren't very intuitive.Overall I'm really impressed with this light. It puts out A LOT of clean, flicker-free light and the build quality is really good. Now instead of only having a rough idea of how messy my garage is, I can see all the mess in bright, exquisite detail!I got this one for free to review but I like it so much I'm going to buy a second one so I can have a matching pair.I will update it anything changes.

great little shop light. Puts out a lot of light and the remote's ability to dim is very useful. I have used it to replace two ugly 2x4 strip lights.

I ordered this DEMILARE 150W LED high bay light and installed it in my shop. This light came with everything I needed, making installation quick and easy, including a 3-prong power cord, a secure mounting hook, and a safety lanyard. I installed this light about 8-feet above the floor and it illuminates a wide area with no flickering. The angle of the light is 120 degrees, so if you have a higher ceiling the lighting footprint will be larger. This light is rated at 18,000 lumens, so it is extremely bright, but with the LED cover, the light is easy on the eyes.The remote is used to adjust the brightness of the light from 10 to 100 percent and adjust the color temperature from warm to cool (3,000K to 5,000K). The usual labels for color temperature are WW for warm (3,000K), NW for neutral (4,000K), and DW for daylight (5,000K). The remote labels these color temperatures as WW, PW, and CW respectively. A bit confusing, but workable if you understand the relationship. Personally, I just used the remote to make my initial settings and I am all done.This light is well constructed, has a durable aluminum housing, and a built-in heat-sink to help dissipate heat and improve longevity. The lifespan of this light is rated 30,000 hours. The light is waterproof and dustproof, so it can be used indoors or outdoors. It also comes with a 3-year warranty.Overall, this is my best high bay light, it has many built-in features, and I especially like the LED cover. If you are looking for a great high bay light, this is it.

The DEMI LAR LED Shop Light absolutely transformed my garage. On its highest setting this thing is blindingly bright, like walking into a big-box warehouse. I love that it doesn't stop at "on" and "off"; you get multiple brightness levels and several color-temperature choices, so I can dial in cool white for detailed projects or a warmer tone when I'm just grabbing something from the tool bench.Installation was straightforward mounting hardware and clear instructions were in the box, and the slim profile means it tucks right up to the ceiling without stealing headroom. Honestly, its output probably makes more sense in a cavernous warehouse, but in my three-car garage it feels like I've got daylight on demand-no more working in shadows or squinting to read tiny labels.If you've got the space and want industrial-grade illumination, this light is a brilliant upgrade.

I've been trying a lot of high bay and track lights out recently looking for the "perfect" light to fit my workspace, and I think my search is now over. :)I've found that it doesn't matter how much of a 'flood' pattern is claimed on a light, they all have a spotlight effect unless you're mounting them in the rafters of a warehouse. Not this light, it's actually got a diffuser on it, which is very rare for a high bay light. It gives great even light coverage over the whole area. I love it!Then add in the fact that it's remote controlled, AND dimmable, AND has different color temps to choose from. Just wow! It has 5 different levels of brightness and you can go up or down. I think the lowest setting is around 50% of the max output, it's still fairly bright and feels like it's a lot brighter than what 10% would be. I'd compare the lowest setting to a 75W incandescent bulb. At the highest setting it's hard to look at the light directly, and it's awesome for flooding an area with uniform bright light when needed. For color temps it's got Cool White (CW), Warm White (WW), and something in-between they call (PW). The product listing here calls it Neutral White, but the I don't know what the PW on the remote would stand for.I do almost want to dock a star cause my remote control arrived damaged. The back plate has a nickel sized semi-circular crack in it where something, presumably the light, smacked against it pretty hard and cracked/dented it in. It didn't affect the functionality though thankfully, and I was able to take the remote apart and push the dented in piece back out mostly flush with the surrounding plastic. I ended up just covering that spot with a velcro strip so I could stick the remote to the side of my desk. I guess I'll let them keep the 5th star since the rest of the light is pure awesomeness. :)Overall I really love it, and I'm probably going to be getting more of these for other areas around my house.
